Welcome to Eggplant's New 4K Suite!

This spring, Eggplant Picture & Sound was proud to announce the opening of our brand new 4K Suite located in our Toronto office. The suite is designed to accommodate both cinematic and broadcast productions alike and features 5.1 Dolby sound. The new theatre was uniquely designed to function both as a final audio mix suite as well as a colour grading suite, making it one of the only of its kind internationally.

Our editors use Mistika for online and colour grading as the high-end green screen keying and full-featured compositing toolset provides the ability to create custom shapes for keying (ie sky replacements) and has motion tracking capabilities for tracking blurs, Boom removals, paint-outs, etc. Our DAW is Pro Tools .

Pro Tools streamlines workflow for recording, editing, and mixing large productions. Pro Tools can utilize up to 128 audio tracks, 60+ plugins and is cloud compatible so projects can be worked on live in studio from anywhere in the world.

Full featured online editorial capabilities should the need for unlocking picture arise, editorial changes can be made without the need to leave the system.
